What is the Professional Development Program and what does it involve?
The program is very informal and casual. You will be inducted into a group chat channel with other mentees. Some are working directly for Fairbane in various teams, ranging from commercial law to A.I. consultancy, to special projects teams.
You will gain the following:
– Exam and study techniques and guidance.
– Support from both senior team and other mentees.
– Professional Development guides and frameworks.
– Active help developing your professional networks and soft skills.
– Learn how to be more resilient during law school and your professional career.
– Developing your professional and personal public profile.
– We will build your confidence up to a level you won’t achieve anywhere else, and we hope you maintain the life-long connection.
*For law students, where possible we can assist with the Clinical Legal Placement units for your law. degree, as well as Practical Legal Training.
Your commitment
We give you ultimate flexibility.You don’t have to commit to a time frame or set times per week. When you can make it to events, we want to see you! We will have semi-regular weekly or monthly catch-ups with other mentees, and periodic other events. There are always opportunities to get more involved and we welcome that!

- Can I get a job with Fairbane through this. Yes, possibly, we open opportunities up within our business as well as our extended network.
- How many hours a week do I need to spend on this? As much as you want but usually we might allocated 1-2 hours per week or every second week depending on your availability.
- Do I have to meet up every week? No. Most contact is online through our group support chat.
